The Friday Night Concert Series

Catch live music every Friday night on the pedestrian mall in downtown Iowa City, in front of the Sheraton Hotel. Shows run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays from May 19 to Sept. 15. All shows are free and open to the public. For more information, call 337-7944.

The Saturday Night Free Movie Series

The Saturday Night Free Movie Series offers free movies on Saturday night, shown outdoors at Macbride Hall at the University of Iowa Pentacrest. Pre-movie live music starts at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at sundown. Films are projected on a screen hung from the columns of Macbride Hall.
